I practice as a licensed psychologist in-person in Mankato, Minnesota and virtually. I obtained a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Between 2011 and 2022 I worked in higher education, both in international education as well as across five university counseling centers.

I research topics related to helping professional resilience and rural professional practice topics. Currently, I serve as the Chair for the Rural and Greater Minnesota Division for the Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA).

I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the Minnesota Psychological Association, and PsyPact.

Professional Trainings

Career Coaching: I completed a training practicum with the Career Counseling and Assessment Clinic at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and training focused on leadership assessment with LeaderWise of New Brighton, MN.

EMDR: I completed training with the Midwest Center for EMDR Training and Therapy in 2020 and have been incorporating EMDR into therapy practice since then.

AEDP: I am currently receiving training to learn Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). With AEDP, emphasis is placed on your own capacity for healing, being understood, and working through defenses quickly and effectively, while discovering newfound ability to trust and experience emotions.
